Beware of Syphilis: On the Rise in America

One of the most devastating, horrible effects of sex by both men is syphilis. A report by the Virginia Department of Health revealed that the number of people infected with syphilis has risen to an alarming level.

In a column by Dr. John Hong of ReadtheHook explained the inner core of the issue:

One particularly nasty STD, syphilis, is on the rise, according to the Virginia Department of Health. Between 2003-2007 in Virginia alone, the number of syphilis cases has increased a whopping 160 percent, in particular in men who have sex with men.

We always suffer the consequences of our own actions. However, we can prevent horrible consequences if we choose the right thing.
