How To Stay Protected From Viruses and Hackers

In an increasingly dangerous online environment, to be lax about security and protection from virus, malware, trojans, spyware, and hacker’s intrusion could be disastrous to your life.

Way back in 2006 I had one unforgettable, monstrous experience in what was seemed an innocent installation of a supposed free software offered by what turned out to be a dubious website. After installing the software, I was asked to reboot my laptop but to my dismay, my laptop cannot connect to the operating system. Instead it kept on rebooting over and over again. I switched it to a safe mode hoping I could make a system restore and undo the previous malicious installation but the system restore feature of Windows was disabled and was rendered inaccessible. Worse, my antivirus software became helpless. It malfunctioned and could no longer be accessed too.

My experience had taught me to be very careful in doing things online. But being careful or cautious is not even enough if your machine (notebook, netbook, desktop, PC) is not armed with a reliable frontline defense like the strong and trusted bullguard antivirus protection that offers 24-hour online and offline security for your computer. You cannot just let your guard down in a minute because the moment viruses, malwares, spywares, trojans and hackers find a loophole in your security defense, they will exploit your vulnerabilities and it may be too late to respond and deploy a damage control. For my part, I had to reinstall the operating system and start from zero by reformatting the harddrive. Later I learned why my defense was weak: my antivirus software at that time had stopped updating its virus database for months already and I was assuming everything was fine when in fact it was just an accident waiting to happen.

I strongly suggest that you should always ensure whether your antivirus software is giving you a real-time, round the clock update. Bullguard antivirus provides both real-time scan and constant update of its database every 2 hours as you are connected to the net. By the way, Bullguard Antivirus offers an absolutely free 60-day trial of its antivirus product. Why don’t you try Bullguard and see whether it offers a better protection and security to you and your family than your current antivirus application?
