The New Definition of Premature Ejaculation

Researchers at the Standards Committee of the International Society for Sexual Medicine have come up a new definition of what a premature ejaculation is. Here's the definition:

• Ejaculation that always or nearly always occurs prior to or within about one minute of vaginal penetration.
• The inability to delay ejaculation on all or nearly all vaginal penetrations.
• Negative personal consequences such as distress, bother, frustration and/or the avoidance of sexual intimacy.
